I’m a home cook first and foremost, and I like to keep things simple. If something makes cooking easier, faster, or more fun, I’ll tell you. If it doesn’t, well… I’ll tell you that too.

Why I started doing reviews
So many people ask me which tools or sauces I recommend, but the truth is: not everything that looks good online performs well in real life.
That’s why I started The Lau Verdict, to give you clear, experience-based opinions on what’s worth buying and what’s better left on the shelf.
Sometimes I’m impressed. Sometimes I’m disappointed. Either way, you’ll always get my honest take, with a bit of humour and plenty of cooking along the way.
